How to use the drain spring, You need to remove the plug in the sink / bathtub feed the spring into the plug hole using a screwing motion as you go. The turning motion on the drain spring will screw into the cause of the blockage and allow you to pull remove it from the plug hole. Drain springs also come in different lengths. Always remember to use safety gloves and glasses when tackling drain issues.
